In this trolley is: 2 grapefruits, a box of Nature Valley granola bars, 2 bags of tomatoes, a packet of sprouts, taro, chillies, leeks, cavendish bananas (Philippine bananas have become too small for my liking lol), 4 packets of mandarin oranges, tinned diced tomatoes, tinned corn, zucchini, beans, asparagus, water spinach and jasmine tea :-) There is a bottle of watermelon Fit N Right for my mum, and a packet of German Franks for my dad. YAY!
8.13pm Philippine officials are ordering an evacuation of coastal communities along the country’s eastern seaboard in expectation of a tsunami. The Philippine Volcanology and Seismology Institute director Renato Solidum says the first 1-metre high waves are expected to hit the northernmost Batanes islands by 5pm local time today.
